Tadeusz Marek, PhD, Professor

Tadeusz Marek is a professor of psychology at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland (Chairman and Cofounder of the Neurobiology Department / NeuroImaging Group of Malopolska Centre of Biotechnology and the Department of Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroergonomics, Institute of Applied Psychology). He is the past vice rector (vice chancellor) of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, and the past president of the Committee on Ergonomics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

His research interests are focused on: methodology of research, mental stress and work load, fatigue, human functions in relation to the processes of visual attention, burnout syndrome, human factors and ergonomics.

His current research interests are focused on: neurobiology, cognitive and clinical neuroscience, chronopsychology, neuroadaptive technologies and neuroergonomics.
