Barbara Sikora-Wachowicz, PhD

I am an academic teacher and researcher at the Institute of Applied Psychology at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow.  I received my MA and PhD in psychology, as well as a BA in International Culture Studies from the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. My PhD research project concerned neural mechanisms underlying visual short-term memory functioning in older and younger adults and was realized within the International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development & Jacobs Foundation Mentored Fellowship Program for Early Career Scholars. My research interest concerns, among others, neural mechanisms underlying short-term memory distortions, neurocognitive ageing and impact of time-of-day on cognitive functioning.
